Welcome everyone! Yesterday I was watching Tim Holtz LIVE on Instagram and it inspired me to get out some of my products and just play. I bought the seasonal Mica Stains as soon as they were released and just hadn’t had a chance to really dive in and play. By the time I had a free moment, they were sold out almost everywhere.
I’ll be honest with you. I have a hard time sharing cards with everyone where products are discontinued. Today, I am putting that aside and enjoying the products I purchased.
I have listed a couple of the Mica Stains that can still be found if you are interested but these were seasonal and once gone – they are gone and (most likely) not coming back.
I dug out some white heavystock cardstock and the Layered Bats Stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I added just one layer of bats to my cardstock using Grit Paste.

After that was dry, I took it over to my splat box and sprayed Mica Stains in Jack-O-Lantern, Flickering Candle, Hocus Pocus and Empty Tomb.

I have the Spooky sentiment cut out of black glitter cardstock and layered on vellum with a smaller Halloween sentiment from the Reverse Spooky Salutations.

I am a huge fan of Halloween so I couldn’t let this season pass me by without creating a spooky card.
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
Love that you pulled out your supplies and just played. The spooky background is perfect. Such a fun Halloween card.
You’re lucky… I am bummed that the seasonal TH offerings are sold out everywhere. Your card is terrific – very cool-looking!
Fantastic card. Was not able to get the mica spray for Halloween . But did get it for Christmas. Love your card.
