Welcome back everyone! I have been having so much fun making edge-to-edge or flat shaker cards and now I have it in a video for you. I’ve seen these shakers called edge-to-edge and flat shaker but they are essentially the same thing.
This idea was inspired by Ilda and you can check her out HERE.

I go into full detail about the shaker card and how to put it together so be sure to check out the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
These shaker cards differ from others because the shaker portion is actually the whole front of the card or edge-to-edge of your panel. Other shaker cards are normally created by forming wells with foam tape and usually created with a shape of sorts. I will be using zero foam tape to create this shaker.

While there is a special product on the market to make this process easier, I’ll be using packaging to create my shaker. This could be packaging from your stamps or other supplies. My biggest tip is to use double sided tape to adhere everything together. It’s super strong, no dry time and easy to adhere.
I created a background for my shaker by using the Stitched Snowflake Background and ink blending Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide inks.

I filled my shaker with random sequins mix that I have on hand. Check out the Lawn Fawn embellishment section, they have a ton of great shaker elements like the chunky glitter, crystal clear fusion sequins, and majestic confetti just to name a few.

I decorated the front of my shaker card with the Snowflake Magic Iris Add On die cut from white card stock. The sentiment is from the Magic Holiday Messages heat embossed in silver embossing powder.
So much sparkle! I just love it!
I highly recommend giving this a try! Trust me, once you create one, you won’t be able to stop!
