Welcome back everyone! Autumn/Fall is my favorite season so I’m always excited to get started on Fall projects. Today I’m sharing a simple card design using the new Autumn Blessings from Taylored Expressions.
I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I start out my card using the Swirls Pierce & Cut plate. This background plate creates a beautiful design on your cardstock. I’ll be using Sweet Potato Pie cardstock to start off the Fall vibes.
To intensify the color, I’m going to ink blend Pumpkin and Chocolate Truffle ink around the edges. Then flick on some gold paint.
Do you heat emboss on vellum? It’s such a stunning touch to your cards. I heat embossed this one image from the Autumn Blessings stamp set in gold embossing powder onto vellum. What I also love about the design of this image is I can add tape runner behind it to attach to my card front and you won’t see the adhesive because the design is so busy.
I’m using Buttercream cardstock for my card base and a sentiment stamped in Chocolate Truffle ink onto Toffee cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and it gave you all the Fall vibes!
Here’s another card I created using some of the new products just released from Taylored Expressions.
This card features the Autumn Array Stencil bundle with this gorgeous bouquet.
I added the Signature Thanks die cut word and also stamped a sentiment on the front using the new Inside Scoop- Thanks stamp set. This stamp set has beautiful messages for the inside of your cards but I used it on the front. I personally, like to keep the inside of my cards blank so I can write a personal message.

Hi, MIndy / TE – This card has such a beautiful autumn patina to it! Gorgeous! I appreciate the reminder about how to get a nice even outline around the die-cut pieces. Love the cover plate w/ the swirls, too. I appreciate how often you supply a video for us, your devoted fans and viewers. I know it cannot be easy to put out these items as often as you do. What a pretty card you have shown us today!
