Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! Today I’m sharing a card where die cuts take center stage! Considering I didn’t do any copic coloring of images, this card was pretty quick to put together.
VIDEO
I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel walking you through the steps and sharing some tips along the way!
I’m making the focal point these Delightful Daisies from Lawn Fawn. I used a variety of shimmer cardstocks to add pops of color to them and Pixie Dust cardstock for the petals.

To draw your attention into the center of the card where the daisies will be, I die cut a panel of white cardstock using the Sunburst Backdrop which is quickly becoming one of my favorite dies to use!
I ink blended the background using Kitsch Flamingo, Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks using a foam blending tool. Then I flicked with background with Starry Colors for a little metallic shine!

For the bottom of the card, I used the Meadow Borders die cut from Shimmer cardstock to tie it together with the daisies.
I love creating my own die cut sentiment word and for this I used Gold Metallic cardstock and the Cole’s ABC’s. Before attaching this to my card, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Long Distance Hugs in White embossing powder.

I have a fun little trick for getting that custom sentiment just right so be sure to check out the video how I did that.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
