Hi everyone ! Today I have an exclusive video on the MFT Youtube channel on how to create a galaxy using the Watercolor Wash Freeform Stencil.
VIDEO
You can view the video down below or HERE on Youtube.
The Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil comes with 2 pieces, a negative and positive piece. It’s great for masking off areas.
The first thing I do is heat emboss the Brush Splatter background in white embossing powder. This makes a great starry sky background.

After attaching the inside portion of the stencil using temporary adhesive, I ink blend the outside edges of my card with Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I can remove the stencil and attach the frame portion of the stencil. Then I’ll ink blend with Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks.

I think this came out so cool! Just imagine the different color combos you could use for the inside portion of your sky!

To keep the focus of the card on the background, I’m just going to die cut Hey from white and Gold Mirror cardstock. I normally do not decorate the inside of my card so I can save this for any occasion.
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Thanks for stopping by!
