I’m keeping my cards fairly simple and really playing on the colors of the kit.
For this first card, I stamped the background stamp onto Cherry Pop, Granny Smith and Pink Champagne cardstock using those same colors of ink for a tone on tone look. Then I trimmed those pieces of cardstock down to 1/4″ strips.
Using various lengths, I added those strips to the side of my card.
The scalloped circle is die cut from granny smith cardstock and I popped up the sentiment with foam squares.
I have another way to use strips of cardstock but this time kept them clean with no stamping.
I think the pop of the heat embossed sentiment onto black cardstock really stands out again those fun colors.
