I want to show you how versatile the new Starstruck bundle is. It’s perfect for Patriotic cards but it also makes amazing birthday cards as well!
Instead of stamping the image in Patriotic colors, I went for a rainbow to make a colorful birthday card.
I started by stamping the background stamp in Sugarcube ink onto Kraft cardstock. I cleaned off my stamp, shifted the cardstock slightly in one direction in my Misti stamping tool and then, one at a time, stamped a rainbow of colors onto the background. The colors I used are Lollipop, Candy Corn, Pineapple, Green Apple, Cookie Monster and Plum Punch.
A little time consuming butI love how it came out!
Once the background was dry, I added the stencil containing stars using Sugarcube ink with a blending brush.
I trimmed the panel down to 4″ x 5 1/2″ and added to a white card base.
I paired the background with the Oh My Word Happy Birthday and added to the front of the card with foam tape.
I finished off the card with a few of the drip drop embellishments.
