Cards Christmas Stencils Taylored Expressions

A2 to Mini Slim Inspiration

Welcome everyone! Today I have some inspiration to share taking the same products and showing how to adapt them on both an A2 size card and also a mini slim line card.

It’s never too soon to start working on Christmas cards right? I always seem to do mine last minute but this year I have a head start!

I’m using the Beautiful Baubles Stencil Set for my cards today and going for kind of a retro color theme.

For the ink blending of the baubles I used Cherry Pop, Lollipop, and Lime Zest inks from Taylored Expressions. The string attachments and sentiment are from the Beautiful Baubles Clear stamp set and are stamped in Oreo ink.

I added a few snowflakes in the background with Confetti Cake and the Let It Snow Stencil.

I couldn’t help but add some drip drops to one of the ornaments and centers of the snowflakes.

I trimmed my panel down to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″, layered 3 pieces of white cardstock together measuring that same size to add dimension and then attached to a card base created from Cherry Pop.

Now I’m taking that exact same design and colors but this time applying them to a mini slim line card. Have you tried mini slim line cards yet? I love them! They are so cute and no special envelope required. They can fit inside an A2 size envelope. They also make great money holders.

For this card I’m using the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets. I love having the Scallop piece as the base of the card.

We have a special treat for you today! The Taylored Expressions Creative Team is sharing cards with various products that have previously been released . Those products are on sale!

Mindy!! Do you hear that sound??! It’s me and I’m hyperventilating! Where is a bag to breathe into?? Love the cards but please – am not ready to go back to holiday prep. I need a summer! Have a great day!

Just fabulous, Mindy. You’re probably not old enough to remember, but when I was a little girl (I’m 51), we had a silver aluminum Christmas tree and it was fabulous! I loved it! They’re selling them again, but are very expensive. Ahh, wonderful memories. 💜
