Coloring On Vellum with MFT Stamps

Welcome everyone! Today I have an exclusive video on the MFT Stamps Youtube channel where I show how to color on vellum.

VIDEO

You can view the video down below or HERE on the MFT Stamps Youtube channel.

For my card, I’ll be using a few products from the upcoming release including Spread Your Wings and Right At Home stamp sets. These products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

I’m also using the All Lined Up Diagonally in which I stamp in Eiffel Tower Ink onto white cardstock.

Coloring on vellum is another way to add color to your images. It’s provides such a soft, delicate look and would look great on floral images too.

Be sure to visit the MFT Youtube channel to find out exactly how I did it.

Hi, Mindy / MFT – This card shows your range as a cardmaker. You can do cute little critter scenes, you can do fancy, refined designs and you can do CAS cards like this with lots of white space. I love the butterflies colored on the flip side of the vellum. Very pretty and thank you for the tips about coloring on vellum. I have tried that before and recall that it’s a whole different “ball game” from coloring on cardstock. I like that background stamp and how you show the perfect amount of it.

Did you know that Eiffel Tower Brown paint is manufactured only for the body that administers/maintains national monuments in France? It’s more of a deep brown, officially. The MFT ink may look more greyish … French greys tend to be much warmer than, say, a Crayola “gray.” Another color that is reserved would be International Orange for the Golden Gate Bridge.

Thanks for the card and the tutorial!
