Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I’m recreating in a video a card that I created last year and had many requests for a video on. It’s also using one of my all-time favorite techniques which is ink blending on colored cardstock.

You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I provide full instructions in my video so below I will list the main supplies used. A complete list of supplies is down below at the end of this post. Please refer to the video HERE for more details.

This card features the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set from Gina K Designs. It has lots of butterflies on it in different sizes, shapes, and angles which is great for making your own backgrounds.

Ink blending on colored cardstock is one of my favorite techniques because it has such a dramatic effect that is created with minimal effort. Here I’m using Blue Lagoon, Tranquil Teal and Blue Denim on Sea Glass cardstock.

Be sure to check out the VIDEO for the full instructions.

Absolutely stunning! I tried to make my own version, but the butterflies don’t show as much as in yours. I must have used too light inks or something. Thanks for the inspiration.
