Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month January 2021

Welcome everyone! I have some inspiration to share using the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the month for January 2021. It’s been a bit since I did any hot foiling but it really is a ton of fun!

This month’s “Calligraphy Hearts” set and coordinating Red Foil Roll is perfect for creating foiled cards, favors, and more.

I loved the look of the foiled hearts and went with just an ink blended background.

On Cherry card stock, I ink blended Mulled Wine and Cup O Joe ink from Hero Arts using a blending tool.

Then I splattered on gold paint. Simple yet so dramatic!

Foiling is something I have a difficult time photographing but it is so beautiful in person!

I have one more very clean and simple card to share.

I used the Red Foil in the kit to foil one of the hearts.

I used the coordinating die to cut out the heart and added to a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ panel of white card stock. Then added to a white A2 size card base.

I have been such a fan of these skinny sentiment strips and love how the gold looks on the black card stock.

You can make stunning cards in minutes with just a few supplies.
