VIDEO: Slimline Christmas Card with Lawn Fawn

Hi Everyone! Today I’m stretching my dies a little from the Lawn Fawn Valentine release to make a Slimline Christmas card.

You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’m using Chili Pepper, Rainforest, Kraft and White card stock from Lawn Fawn to create my Slimline card. I’ll also be using the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts die.

I added a little interest to my front panel with the Snowflakes Trio Stencil and Yeti pigment ink with a blending tool.

To create my scene I’m using Snowglobe Scenes, Over the Mountain Borders, and Winter Skies. All of my images are stamped on White card stock with Jet Black ink and colored with copic markers. I have all of the colors listed at the top of the screen in the video.

The sky in my background is created by ink blending Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink.

I found the perfect sentiment to fit in between each section using the Winter Skies stamp set. I heat embossed them onto the Rainforest card stock with Silver Embossing powder. Then used the Everyday Sentiment Banner die to trim it down. I have discovered I’m awful and manually trimming down my sentiments so I took the extra steps to die cut them out.

I thought the card needed just a little more pop of white so I added some small snowflakes from the Snowglobe Scenes Shaker Add on.

I don’t know about you but I love creating Slimline cards. They can fit into a regular business envelope or I’ll list some places down below where you can pick some up.
