Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On

Welcome everyone! I’m so excited to share some inspiration with you featuring the new Magic Iris Snow Globe Add On. I could crazy with this one!

I’m a huge fan of snow globes. There is just something super magical about them at Christmas.

For my first card shown below, I created a Snow Globe using the Magic Iris and Magic Iris Snow Globe Add On. For the snow globe, I die cut Woodgrain card stock for the base and lightly ink blended Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink. I also die cut Gold Metallic card stock for the rim of the base.

The globe is ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks. I kept the darker color towards the outside of my globe.

I created the background using Pixie Dust card stock, Stitched Hillside and ink blended Salted Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I also add the Snowflake Trio Stencil with Yeti Pigment ink.

For the sentiment, I chose one from the Ready Set Snow stamp set and combined images from that stamp set and Yeti or Not.

I seriously could stare at this all day.

Now as I was first showing the snow globe to my husband before it became a winter snow globe, he thought I was making a crystal ball. So, I ran with that idea!

For this one I ink blended Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress Oixde inks and also used the Cloudy Stencil. Then flicked some Gold Metallic paint on it.

I used the NEW Holographic card stock for the rim and Black Sparkle card stock for the base.

The background is created by ink blending Peacock Feathers and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks onto Peacock card stock. Then I used the Starry Sky Stencil with the Peacock Distress Oxide ink.

You can also kind of see the Spooky Fence behind my crystal ball and a hill I create with the Stitched Hills and Narwhal card stock.

Images are from Fox Costumes Before n’ After, Costume Party and Spooktacular.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! I can’t wait to make more of these!
