Cards Concord & 9th My Sweet Petunia Pink Fresh Studio Shimmer Powders

My Sweet Petunia & PinkFresh Studio Blog Hop

Welcome back friends! My Sweet Petunia and Pinkfresh Studio are joining together today in a hop to bring you a bunch of inspiration!

My first set of cards are featuring the Nested Diamonds Cling stamp. This set is a ton of fun and I loved being able to customize my colors. Stamping with the new NEW Misti 2.0 made this a breeze and I love all the new features of the new Misti!

I’m using a variety of colors from Concord & 9th to create this monochromatic card.

You can’t leave out a rainbow! So bright and cheerful!

I finished off both cards by trimming the panels down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and adding to a white card base.

I die cut the words out of Gold Foil card stock using the Phrase Builder Hello set and adding the shadow layer using vellum.

I’ve been itching to play with the Lemon Lush stamp set. While it would be fun to color, I wanted to try out some shimmer powders on it.

I heat embossed the image onto watercolor card stock with Versamark and Gold embossing powder. After taping my panel down to a wooden board, I added Solar Flare and Catherine Wheel Shimmer Powder and spritzed with water. It was looking a little too red/orange so I added some Cherry Bomb but I was a little too late.

Even though I was hoping for a more pink/yellow color, I’m still happy with the results and love all the shimmer.

I let this air dry as that seems to get the best results! After trimming the panel down and adding to a white card base, I attached the Friend die cut word.

I finished off the card by adding a few jewels around my sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Don’t forget this is a blog hop and with a blog hop comes prizes!
