Snowflake Wreath |Gina K Designs July Challenge

Welcome friends! Each month, there is a new challenge over at Gina K Designs. This month the theme is Christmas in July. All you need to do is create a card or project with a Winter/Christmas theme and link it up over on the Gina K Designs blog. When you do, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Gina K Designs. Three winners will be chosen. Be sure to link up your project by July 31st.

My inspiration for you today is using the Wreath Builder with the a variety of snowflakes from Dashing and Holiday Wreath Builder stamp sets.

I stamped the snowflakes in a variety of colors from Gina K Designs including Tranquil Teal, Turquoise Sea and Sea Glass onto white heavy weight cardstock. After stamping, I used a blending brush and lightly ink blended Sea Glass.

I started from the center blending out towards the edges, getting lighter as I got towards the outside edges of the card.

I stamped a sentiment in Tranquil Teal and die cut with the Double Stitched Circle die.

I have a card base I created from Tranquil Teal cardstock that is cut to 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and then a layering white piece of cardstock that measure 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ adhered on top. I added my stamped panel that measures 4″ x 4″ and attached the sentiment with foam squares.

To finish off the card, I added Sparkling Crystal Crystalline drops to the centers of some of my snowflakes.

If you create a card for Christmas in July, be sure to link it up over on the Gina K Designs blog.
