Welcome everyone to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs blog hop featuring the June 2020 release. Today we’ll be sharing inspiration using the Macramade With Love and Let’s Celebrate stamp sets.
Here’s a look at the Macramade With Love full stamp set. It is a large 6″ x 8″ stamp set filled with amazing designs and sentiments.
I used one of the large images as a background piece on my card front. I heat embossed the image onto Gina K Designs silver card stock using silver embossing powder.
By leaving the image in my Misti Stamping Tool, I am able to stamp it again and heat emboss it a second time to get more dimension to the image. I’m a huge fan of how silver embossing powder looks on the silver card stock.
After trimming the panel down and adding to a black mat, I attached to a white A2 size card base using foam tape to add a little more dimension.
I die cut the word Smile three times from white card stock and adhered together with Connect glue. The sentiment “My Friend” comes from the stamp set Big Hello. I heat embossed this onto black card stock with white embossing powder and trimmed down to a thin strip. I then added to the card front with foam squares.
Gina also came out with new embellishments which are just gorgeous! I added the Dazzling Diamond Rhinestones around my sentiment and for the dot of my “i” using connect glue and a jewel picker.
My next card features the new stamp set Let’s Celebrate. This is another 6″ x 8″ stamp set perfect for celebration cards! I love the mix of fonts on this.
For my card, I went with this little grouping of stars and paired it with the Mini Wreath Builder. I stamped the stars in a variety of colors from Gina K Designs to create a rainbow.
I matted my panel with black card stock and added to a small 3″ x 3″ notecard.
I wanted to fill in the card a little more so I added Angel Aura Rhinestones in between the larger stars.
Creating these little notecards are great because they are a perfect size to stuff in your purse if you want to hand some out. I know there are plenty of times I wish I would have had a card with me to give someone who looks like they need a smile.
