Welcome everyone! It’s time for the May release from Picket Fence Studios!
My first card features the new A Rose stamp set with this large floral image.
I heat embossed my image onto watercolor card stock and watercolored with a Karin Brush Pro Marker. I used the single color Cerise 375 and a paintbrush.
The background was created by dry embossing the Basket Weave stencil onto Arctic card stock.
I tied off with a sentiment heat embossed in Gold onto Black card stock. The sentiment comes from the Bird of Paradise Flower stamp set.
Grab your sunglasses because this next card has some serious shine! I’m featuring the gorgeous new Fleur Di Lis Stencil. I added this stencil to a white background by applying Thermoweb Transfer Gel Duo.
Once dry, I applied Glittering Green Foil and ran through my die cut machine. The new Duo formula allows me to attach foil without a laminator. The pressure from the die cut machine adheres the foil and I have a gorgeous sparkly card!
I finished off the card with a small sentiment from the stamp set My Man My Friend and added to a card base created with Key Lime card stock.
I always wanted to try stamping with a stencil and so that’s the technique I have with the new Spliced Heart Stencil.
I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral and Wild Honey Distress Oxide Inks. Next, I spritzed my stencil with water and laid it down on my background. I covered it with a paper towel to soak up an excess water and waited a couple minutes.
Once this was dry, I stamped a cute little sentiment from the stamp set Peach & Piper Checking the Post.
The last card I’m sharing with you today is perfect for Father’s Day! This is the new Dad’s Day stamp set featuring an oversized burger image (other then the tomato) looks oh-so-yummy!
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Be sure to check out the full release over at Picket Fence Studios!
