Altenew Cards Watercolors

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Iris & Watercolor Essential Set Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome everyone! Today Altenew is releasing the beautiful new Paint-A-Flower Iris and a few other goodies that I think you’ll love!

A few other items you’ll find in this release includes the new Watercolor Essential Set and Watercolor Paper Pads.

I used the A2 loose Watercolor Paper for my watercoloring today. I stamped my image in Versafine ink and watercolored with the new Watercolor Essential set.

I found these to be very smooth and easy to work with.

After the image was dry, I trimmed the panel down and added a sentiment from the Paint-A-Flower Iris set.

I was very impressed with how bright white these watercolor papers are! This is probably the brightest I’ve used so far.

If you chose to subscribe to the Paint-A-Flower sets, you receive a discount.

These sets are amazing as you not only get a beautiful new image each month, but coordinating sentiments as well.

Here’s a look at the colors included in the set. Don’t forget, you don’t need a ton of colors. Mix and match to create your own unique shades.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below.
