Altenew Cards Stencils

Altenew Build-A-Flower Triumph Tulip Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY

Welcome everyone! It’s time for a new Build-A-Flower with Altenew and this month is the Triump Tulip. This may be one of my favorites because I absolutely love tulips!

Today’s post is part of a blog hop which I’ll go into more detail at the end of this post.

I stamped the beautiful tulip in a variety of bright Spring colors. I used the ink sets Sweet Dreams, Summer Afternoon, and Red Sunset. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out.

For my leaves in the background, I changed it up a bit and used the Rose Bouquet Stencil. On a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock I ink blended Dew Drop and Forest Glades to give the leaves a two-tone look. Then before removing the stencil, I spritzed the leaves with Iridescent Shimmer Spray.

Once my panel was dry, I trimmed it down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and using my Misti Tool for perfect placement, I stamped the sentiment in the top corner using Obsidian Ink.

I added this panel to a piece of Gold Mirror card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then attached to a white A2 size notecard.

Finally, I added in my colorful bouquet of Tulips using a tape runner.

To finish off the card, I attached a few Crystal Clear Sequins using Liquid Glue and topped them off with Cloud 9 Dream Drops. Doesn’t this card just scream Spring?
