Spellbinders Large Die of the Month – Fall Flora

Welcome everyone! It’s the start of a new month which means a new Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders. This one is called Fall Flora.

I started my card by creating a background. I used the Plaid Stencil from The Stamp Market and ink blended it in GRANNY SMITH Ink onto LIME ZEST from Taylored Expressions using the blending brushes.

I die cut all the leaf dies from SUGAR CUBE card stock and a few of the individual flowers from Pixie Dust Glitter card stock.

I also die cut the frame from SWEET BASIL card stock and used it as a place holder on my card front. I lined all of my die cut leaves around the frame and started to adhere down with liquid glue.

The Thanks sentiment is also on the Fall Flora set and I die cut it from OREO card stock and adhered to my sentiment panel.

Using foam tape, I attached my sentiment panel to the center of my leaf clusters.

I think this would be a great staple in your die collection. Not only can you create fall cards but die cutting them from allows you so many more possibilities to use as accents on cards for any occasion/holiday.
