My Monthly Hero Kit June 2019 – Hero Arts

Welcome everyone! Today I’m playing with some products from the June 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts and some of the Add ons. I absolutely fell in love with this kit!

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a video tutorial where I am creating 3 cards using the kit and some of the add ons. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

These monkeys from the Thanks a Bunch Monkey stamp set stole my heart immediately. They are just so super adorable! I was also thinking they would look good on baby cards.

I copic colored my images onto Neenah Solar White card stock and used the coordinating die to cut them out. This stamp set is an Add On item that you would purchase separately from the kit.

For the background, I started by stenciling in some clouds in the background. I used the Mini Cloud Stencil with Hero Hues Splash Ink and a blender brush.

I also die cut the Jungle Frame from Hero Hues Kiwi and Palm card stock. I layered these pieces onto my card panel with Gina K Designs liquid glue.

Next, I just tucked my monkeys around the vines and leaves.

My next card I created a watercolor look to my background. I stamped the Jungle Bold Prints stamp set onto Canson watercolor paper with Hero Arts Embossing ink. Then added white embossed powder and melted with my heat tool.

I used Atlantis Burst and Falling Leaves Shimmer Powders to create a fun background. I love these type of backgrounds because there are so many different things you can do with them, especially when there are open areas that you can also color.

I added some images from the June 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit to my card panel.

My last card I got a little bold. Ok, a lot bold.

I ink blended Lemon Drop, Fruit Punch, Berry Smoothie and Creamsicle Hero Hues inks. I am really enjoying these inks because of the bright, vibrant colors.

My Jungle Frame is die cut from Pitch Black card stock. and layered on top of my blended background.

The sentiment is also from the kit which I stamped on black card stock and heat embossed with white. I stamped and colored my Toucan and added to the side with foam squares.

I am loving this kit so much and hope to create more with it soon! I hope you enjoyed the inspiration!
