Get Well Before and After Picture Changer

Welcome back everyone! Today I’m featuring a fun Magic Picture Changer card this time featuring the Get Well Before n’ After and Rain or Shine Before n’ After Stamp sets from Lawn Fawn. I thought it would be really fun to combine the two.

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a video tutorial that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I started by creating my background. I stenciled in clouds using the Mini Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I know it’s hard to see in pictures but I think it’s something that just adds to the scene.

I die cut the Straight Flower Border from Cilantro card stock and attached the flower tops with liquid glue. I used Sunflower, Guava, Mermaid and Sugar Plum card stock for the flowers. I only needed a few since most of the border will be covered by the picture changer.

I then used the Shadow Box Park Add On and die cut the trees from Paper Bag card stock and the tree tops from Cilantro. I went ahead and attached my tree tops and tree trunks to the stenciled panel. Then added the Flower border.

Since my background is pretty much done, I matted the stenciled panel to a piece of white card stock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to an A2 size card base made from Mermaid card stock.

I stamped my images from the Get Well Before n’ After set and Rain or Shine Before n’ After set onto Lawn Fawn white card stock with Jet Black ink. I also stamped my images onto masking paper and after fussy cutting them out, I attached the masks to my images.

I ink blended Pumice Stone and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide for my stormy sky and I used Shabby Shutters for the ground. For my happy side, I ink blended Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide using a Life Changing Blender Brush.

After removing the masks, I colored in my images with copic markers. I used YG17, YG25, YG23, YG21, G99, G94, YG03 for the turtle. I added C4, C2, C1, and C0 for the stormy clouds. Once my images were colored I could put my Magic Picture changer together.

My frame is die cut from Cilantro card stock and Really Rainbow Scallops paper pack using the Picture Changer Add On. The green design matched my scene so well. I added my picture changer to the card front with two layers of foam tape.

My sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder onto Mermaid card stock. Then added to the front of the card with foam tape. This sentiment comes from the Get Well Before n’ After stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed more inspiration using the Magic Picture Changer. I’m having so much fun creating with it!
