Welcome back everyone! I just came back from an amazing trip in Ohio at the Simon Says Stamp Create Event. I’ll share more about that in another post but this was a stamp set I picked up there and just needed some color therapy after a long day.
This stamp set is Flower Garden from Hero Arts. I have a lot of ideas for this one but decided to start with ink blending.
I stamped the image onto Bristol Smooth card stock using clear ink. I sprinkled on White Embossing Powder and heat set with my heat gun.

Next, I ink blended (a dab) of Seedless Preserve and then Aged Mahogany, Spun Sugar and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I wiped away the excess ink to reveal the bright white embossing powder.
For the sentiment I used the new Sentiment Strips. These come in 4 sheets and have a huge variety of sentiments already preprinted on card stock. You just trim and add to you project. I popped mine up with foam strips for dimension.

For finishing touch, I added some Clear Jewels using my jewel picker and Lawn Fawn Glue.
Easy peasy and I got my color therapy in. I just couldn’t wait to play with some of the products that I picked up!

Thank you for sharing. I love this technique, and will now try it.
