Welcome back everyone! I’m thrilled to be back with another post featuring the amazing release from Concord & 9th! I have a few cards to share with you on different ways to use the To The Point Turnabout stamp set and Hello Sunshine Turnabout Stamp set.
CARD #1
My first card, I stamped an entire background using the To The Point Turnabout stamp set. I stamped in Key Lime, Fresh Asparagus, Turquoise Sea, and Passionate Pink ink from Gina K Designs. I trimmed this down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added to an A2 size notecard.
Next, I took a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock 110 lb., trimmed about an inch out of the panel and added to the front with foam tape. I added the cactus from the To The Point die and a small sentiment in the corner. The cactus is added to the front with foam squares and for some added interest, I added Crystalline drops to different areas of the cactus.
CARD #2
On my next card, I ink blended Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. Then flicked water onto my background and dabbed with a paper towel. I trimmed this piece down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added to a white A2 size notecard.
I die cut the cactus from Warm Cocoa, Sea Glass, Passionate Pink and Lucky Clover cardstock from Gina K Designs and added to the middle of the ink blended panel. The sentiment is from the To The Point Turnabout stamp in which I heat embossed in white onto Black cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment down to tiny strips and attached to the front of the card.
CARD #3
For my next card, I created a background using all die cut from the To The Point die. I used Cilantro cardstock from Lawn Fawn for the cactus and Seaglass and Passionate Pink from Gina K Designs for the pot. I attached these randomly to a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock measuring 4″ x 5 1/2″ and trimmed off the excess. Then attached to an A2 size white notecard.
I created the center piece by stamping the image from the To The Point Turnabout stamp set in Key Lime and Sea Glass ink. I added a sentiment to the bottom and trimmed down to a small rectangle then added to the front with foam squares.
CARD #4
Last but not least is a card I made using the Hello Sunshine Turnabout stamp set. I am only showing one card here but I will have more to share in the future.
I stamped my sunshine in the center of a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used Key Lime, Passionate Pink, Wild Dandelion and Blue Raspberry ink from Gina K Designs.
Using the banner stamp on this set, I stamped in Versamark Ink on Key Lime cardstock and heat embossed with Gilded Embossing Powder. Once cool, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the banner with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Gilded Embossing Powder. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I lined up where I wanted the banner to go and using my Misti tool, I stamped the sentiment “sending a bit of Sunshine” right above where the banner was going to go. This is easier to do before attaching the banner. Then I added the banner with foam squares. For some added interest, I added beautiful Marigold jewels around the rays using Gina K Connect glue and a jewel picker.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! I have been having tons of fun creating with the new release from Concord & 9th!
