Welcome back everyone! These little deer from Neat & Tangled have been begging to be colored up!
CARD DETAILS
I couldn’t decide which one to use on my card so I used them all! I stamped the images onto Neenah white cardstock with MFT Extreme Black ink then colored with copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut them out to add to my card in a bit.
For my background, I’m using a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock which is great for ink blending. Using the Drifts & Hills stencil, I added a few snowbanks to the bottom of my card with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. It’s hard to see in the picture but in person it is the perfect color!
Next, I created my sky by ink blending Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxide inks. This is such a dreamy combination!
I added my cute deer around the card, attaching them with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I used the Merry Die for part of my sentiment which is cut out in Pixie Dust Glitter cardstock. The shadow layer is die cut from Vellum. For my tiny strip sentiment, I stamped this from the Christmas Tiny Words stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Then using one of my favorite new dies, Sentiment Label, I die cut this sentiment into a thin strip and added to my card front with foam tape.
To finish off the card, I added some Like Magic Sequins around the top of card. One last finishing touch is adding a shimmer pen to the noses and then topping it off with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
