Welcome everyone to the Save The Crafty Youtuber Hop! I have a fun technique to share with you today that was inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire and Kelly Latevola.
This hop is put together to bring you some fabulous designers you may or may not know. Youtube had changed their criteria a while back and some people either lost their monetization or are further away now then before. Monetization is where a Youtuber can make money off of Youtube videos. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of making a video. Not only does this hop help bring in those views and hopefully new subscribers but you may find a new crafter you didn’t know before.
You can view my view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
We have tons of prizes to giveaway which I’ll get to at the end of this post so be sure to keep reading!
I’m showcasing the technique Watercolor Bleaching or Painting with Distress Oxides. I’m using the gorgeous Grand Garden stamp set from Gina K Designs and Ornamental Stamp set from Simon Says Stamp designed by my friend Cathy Zielske.
I’m not going to spill all the details of the card in my post as I encourage you to check out my video. I think it’s fun to take an everyday stamp set and turn it into a Christmas card just by changing up some colors and adding just the right sentiment.
Hop Details.
To participate in the hop which is jam packed with techniques you can head over to Justine Hovey’s Youtube channel. Each participant for today will have a link to the next person in the hop. The more you comment, the better your chance of winning some of these prizes from the amazing sponsors!

When i saw this card i had to rush to buy the stamp set!! Absolutely Beautiful.
Love this card – I used to do “bleaching” with the real deal, but your process is SO much easier and better, and love the trick you mentioned in the video about the embossing lines. I love this card so much that I can see myself doing this for my Christmas cards this year! Oh, and I'm in the US. 🙂
Your card is gorgeous. I love the simple design and monochromatic color scheme. Thank you for the tip about cleaning up the white embossing
