Welcome back everyone! I figure the best way for me to use the stamps I have is to combine them!
Today’s card is featuring lots of cuteness from Mama Elephant. I totally admit that I’m a stamp hoarder. I have tons of stamps that I have intentions of coloring up and never do. The best way for me to get them inky and is to combine sets.
This card is featuring A Beary Christmas, Cool Penguins, Yappy Woofmas and Sentiments From a Yeti. I laid out how I wanted my card design to be and then created masks for all of them.
I stamped out my images onto a Neenah Solar White cardstock base and then added my mask on top. when creating a scene using masking, you want to stamp first the one you want in the front and work your way back. Once all the masks were in place I created a background using Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. Then splattered with water so it looks like it was snowing.
Once my background was done, I removed the masks and colored my images with copic markers.
I added the sentiment from the Sentiments from a Yeti stamp set. To finish off the snowing effect, I used a white gel pen and added speckles all around the sky. For a little sparkle I used a Nuvo Shimmer Pen because wrapping paper has to sparkle!
