Hello Hello Everyone!! Today’s card is for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #32 going on right now! Keep reading for more details and video!
The challenge is a mood board and one of the DT members used this fun plaid paper that totally inspired my card today. I’m using this adorable Elphie Selfie stamp set.
I start out by stamping my images onto Neenah white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink which is copic safe. Then I color with copic markers and die cut using the coordinating die set. I’ve really been loving having the coordinating die sets. For one, it cuts out almost every image. Second, I just don’t have room to keep my Scan n Cut Machine out all the time so the dies come in super handy. Bonus – I just love the smooth edge it leaves.
I cut out some grassy borders using Cilantro Cardstock and ink the top edges of the grass with Cilantro ink from Lawn Fawn. I also cut out some puffy clouds from a piece of Watercolor Wishes paper and ink those edges with Moonstone ink from Lawn Fawn.
My sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set and I heat emboss that in white embossing powder on Moonstone cardstock. I used the Everyday Sentiments Banner die to die cut out my sentiment. The Everyday Sentiments Banner is such a great staple die to have in your collection!
I start to layer up my card first starting with Moonstone Cardstock as my base. Then adding white cardstock and the plaid from Perfectly Plaid Spring paper in which I die cut using the Small Stitched Rectangles die. I love how all of the elements come together!
