Hey everyone ! Playing along with Challenge #83 from Your Next Stamp and I picked this super cute Froggie image for my card. I’m working with the sketch on this one and I just HAD to dig out my oxides for this.
Using Bristol smooth cardstock, I ink blended Lucky Clover Distress Oxide, Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide. I started with the darkest color and worked my way up the piece of cardstock to the lightest color which was the Twisted Citron. I cut this down to a strip measuring 1 1/2″ x 4″ long.
I’m using an A2 size card base for my panel then trimmed another piece of white cardstock down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and backed it with fun foam. I added my strip to the top of the panel. My image I colored with copic markers and cut out with my Scan n Cut to add to my card front.
I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment on the side using my Misti tool because I forgot to stamp it before adding the fun foam and wanted to make sure it lined up straight in case I needed to stamp it twice. Then adde a couple little bugs by the frog just stamping in black ink.
So cute and so simple! I love the bright greens! Makes me wish Spring would come sooner!
