C.C. Designs Release

It’s time ! It’s Time! The C.C. Designs December Release is now live!!! This is such a fantastic release you don’t want to miss it!

I have a few things to share today so please keep reading! First I have some more inspiration for you with a card I created.

I stamped my images from the Wintertime set onto Neenah white cardstock and colored with copic markers. Then I used the coordinating die to cut them out. I also colored and die cut some trees and a park bench from the Winter Scene Stamp/Die set. I also prepped my background by cutting a stitched hillside with the Winter Borders Die.

For my sky, I ink blended Wilted Violet and Seedless preserve distress oxide inks (which are also sold at C.C. Designs!) I spritzed with some water from my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and dabbed off with a paper towel. I masked off part of the Hillside Border that I did cut and added some Salty Ocean distress oxide.

Next I started to layer my card. I added the stitched hillside on top of the sky background, tucking in some trees behind and ontop of the hill. I adhered this panel to some craft foam and then to a 4 1/4″x 5 1/2″ cardbase. I added my characters throughout the card to create a little winter scene. The sentiment is also from the Winter time stamp set which I stamped onto a stitched banner from the Make a Card Scene #17.

I put a finishing touch on to my trees by using some Wink of Stella clear which its so sparkly in person – hard to capture on camera.
