Can you believe what a fantastic release this is for C.C. Designs!? Amazing images and tons of possibilities! Today I’m sharing a card I created with Heidi with Headband – she is just the sweetest.

I started out by stamping Heidi with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Neenah White Cardstock and coloring with copic markers. I also stamped her onto some pattern paper and cut out the shirt and skirt so her outfit is paper pieced. I added a little shading to the outfit so it wasn’t flat. Before adhering the outfit to my image, I cut the image out with my Scan n Cut machine. Then finished off adding the outfit.
Next, I created my background. I used Bristol smooth cardstock with the Marilyn Stencil and applied Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar distress ink very lightly. I cut a border for the stitched edge and added this to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ base. The sentiment is from the Girly Sentiments stamp set also from C.C. Designs. I stamped this onto Neenah cardstock with Gina K Black Ink – its a very nice crisp ink!
I attached the sentiment strip to my card and then added Heidi with some foam tape. To a final touch I added a couple sequins from the Like Magic sequin mix.
