Oh Snap! Yep – you heard me … haha! That is the name of this fabulous new/old stamp from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps that I used on my card today. This stamp was retired and it has come out of the Secret Vault as a re-release. This stamp set is full of spunk and character – another MUST HAVE in you stash!
Today is also another Wonderful Wednesday and I really hope you play along with us. As always it’s anything goes and you can use whatever stamp you want but why not break out those Kraftim Kimmie Stamps and show us what you got ! Be sure to check the Kraftin Kimmie Blog for more details!
My card today, like I said is showcasing the fabulous Oh Snap! set. I’ve also been having some fun with Transfer gel and stencils.
To start, I colored my image with my copic markers and cut her out with my Scan n Cut ( gotta love this machine!). Note – the white polka dots on her hat I added with a white gel pen.
My background – I used some Neenah White Cardstock and a brick wall stencil. I applied the Thermoweb transfer gel and CAREFULLY removed the stencil. Let that sit overnight. I will admit … I love how this all comes out but I am NOT a patient person so waiting until the next day kills me ! lol..
The next day, I took my beautifully dried brick wall background. I cut a piece of foil and ran it through my laminator. Poof – gorgeous shiny wall! Some parts didn’t quite catch the foil the whole way but I think it adds character and honestly no brick wall is perfect.
It is really hard to capture the beauty of this foil on camera.. you absolutely have to try this for yourself! Hopefully I’ll have a video for you soon on it!
Everything else is just layered on my card. The polariod piece I actually created myself using a couple square dies since I didn’t have an actual polaroid die.
Head on over and grab this beauty up while it’s still in stock!!!
