Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge – Summer

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!!! I have had lots of fun stuff going on lately so be sure to go to my HOME button on the top of the screen so you don’t miss anything!

Getting a little early start on my Guest Design Team spot for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and participating in the Saturday Challenge which is Summer themed! Simple, fun and easy!!

Who can resist a shaker card right?! I love to make them and this set is perfect for it!

I used my circle die and cut out a hole in the middle of my card for my window. I also used those same dies to do the same thing to 2 pieces of foam. Before I went too far, I stamped my sentiment onto my card front.  Then I adhered my two pieces of foam together. I added a piece of acetate behind the circle of my card front so my sequins don’t fall out and adhered that to my foam pieces. My card base is actually me playing with distress oxide to give it that ocean water look . Unfortunately, I didn’t write down which ones I used but maybe that will be a good video for the future.

I put my card base aside and colored up my whale from the Oceans of Love set (on sale right now!) then cut it out with my Scan n Cut. I adhered it to the front of my card with Scrapbook Adhesive. Almost done ! I lined up where my circle would be and put down some sequins mix on my oxide base. Normally I wouldn’t do quite in this order but I was a little too focused and didn’t think it through right away haha.

I then adhered the window on top of the distress oxide base and poof! You have a fantastic shaker card! The Nuvo drops I added for a finishing touch.
