Today’s card features one of my absolute favorite shape dies to use when designing cards — nesting arches. There’s something about the soft curve of an arch that instantly adds elegance and interest to a card design. It’s a shape I find myself reaching for again and again because it works beautifully for creating focal points, layering elements, and framing different techniques.

The arches really set the stage for this design, creating a soft window on the card front with a layer of Buttercream cardstock behind it that adds a warm glow through the opening. The florals bring in the color, ink blended in bold, vibrant shades of blue that feel fresh and eye-catching against the soft background.

Arranged under the arch, they create a striking focal point, while the sentiment that follows the curve of the arch adds a finishing touch that echoes the shape and keeps the whole design feeling beautifully balanced.
