Today I have a beautiful Easter card to share with you — full of soft texture, cheerful color blending, and the sweetest little bunny detail! This project combines die cutting, ink blending, and embossing to create a design that feels layered and special while still being simple to recreate.

I started by die cutting an egg using the Basic Shapes Nested Eggs Die Set from white cardstock. To bring the egg to life, I ink blended over the surface using Cheeky, Cantaloupe, and Zest inks with a blending brush. These warm, happy colors blend beautifully together and instantly give the card a springtime feel.
Once the ink blending was complete, I added texture by running the egg through my die-cutting machine with the Tiny Flora 3D Embossing Folder. This step adds an adorable floral pattern and creates wonderful dimension.
To highlight that texture, I lightly blended white pigment ink over the raised areas using a foam blending tool. The flat foam surface catches only the embossed design, allowing the flowers to pop while leaving the blended background untouched — such an easy technique with a big impact!

For the focal point, I used the Embellished Bunny Die and cut it from white cardstock. I softly ink blended the bunny using Cookie and Gingerbread inks to add warmth and gentle shading.
One of my favorite details is the additional die layer that embosses a delicate floral pattern directly onto the bunny. It adds subtle interest while tying beautifully into the floral texture of the egg.
I stacked the bunny die cut twice with extra cardstock for stability and dimension before adhering it to the front of the egg.
The egg was popped up onto an A2 card front made from Seaside cardstock using thin foam squares for added depth without too much bulk.
Next, I created a sweet accent using the Double Loop Bow Die, blending it with Guava ink for a soft pop of color. The bow was added to the top of the egg with foam adhesive to enhance the layered look.
To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Special Friend Stamp Set, cut out with the coordinating die and placed over the bunny to complete the design.

I love how this card combines soft ink blending with bold texture. The raised embossing, layered dies, and dimensional elements work together to create a design that feels detailed yet clean — perfect for Easter or spring celebrations.
Sometimes a simple shape, like an egg, becomes something really special just by layering techniques and textures together!
