Cards Christmas Simon Says Stamp

Festive Merriment with Simon Says Stamp

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing some cheerful holiday inspiration featuring the Festive Merriment stamp set from Simon Says Stamp—a playful layering set filled with classic Christmas icons like gingerbread men, mistletoe, wrapped presents, and ornaments.

Whether you’re embellishing handmade cards or dressing up your holiday tags, this set gives you endless mix-and-match possibilities. One of my favorite features? Each image is labeled on the carrier sheet, making it so easy to see which layers pair together. It’s truly a stress-free way to create polished, dimensional images.

To keep things fun and fresh, I stamped all of the layered images in a palette of teals and pinks. This non-traditional color combo feels whimsical yet festive, and it works beautifully across all the icons in the set. Once the stamping was complete, I used the coordinating die set to cut everything out, leaving me with a cute assortment of holiday elements ready for cardmaking.

With my pieces ready to go, I arranged them on my card front—some ornaments tucked behind presents, the gingerbread man front and center, and the mistletoe layered in as a soft accent. Everything is popped up with foam tape, giving the design that extra bit of dimension I love.

For the main sentiment, I reached for the Holiday Trio 1 die set and added a crisp die-cut greeting. To complement it, I stamped one of the smaller greetings from the Tree Plate Greetings set and trimmed it using the Sentiment Labels 2.0 die set. That smaller sentiment is also popped up with foam tape to match the height and give the overall design a cohesive, polished look.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this project inspires you to dive into your holiday supplies and create something festive and fun. Happy crafting! 🎄✨
