Under the Sea Card | Distress Oxide Ink Blending + Stencil Techniques: Simon Says Stamp

Hey friends! Today I’m diving into an underwater adventure with this vibrant under the sea card. I’m combining a few of my favorite techniques—coloring with alcohol markers, ink blending with Distress Oxides, and a fun stamped stencil effect using water—to bring this ocean scene to life.

VIDEO

I have a video tutorial that you can watch down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I walk through all of the supplies in my video and share a full visual supply list at the end of this blog post so I will quickly go through the main supplies used.

SUPPLIES

To add a little extra interest, I brought back a fun technique I haven’t used in a while—stamping with a stencil using water to lift the ink. The result is a soft, almost ethereal pattern that really enhances the underwater feel.
