Hey friends! Today I’m joining Pinkfresh Studio in a blog hop featuring some products from their Good Times release! It’s a beauty!
I will have all the information to the blog hop and giveaway at the end of this post.

The first thing I always do when working with layering stencils is stamp the image out in a light grey ink. In this case I used Misty Coast.
Then I used the layering stencils to color in the image. I used a variety of Pinkfresh inks including
I am using the large blending brushes from Pinkfresh which are super soft and fluffy making for a nice soft application of color.

After ink blending, I stamped back over the image with Black ink to bring the details back in and then die cut out with the coordinating die.
For the background, I used the residual ink on the brushes to apply a light wash of color.

After arranging my flowers onto the card front, I added a small oval from the Double Stitched Elongated Ovals die set. This will serve as grounding for my sentiment which is from the Butterfly Bliss stamp set.
I’m normally not so light handed with my flowers but boy I love how this came out!

This may sound a little silly, but I am really inspired by how you used the small oval for your sentiment! I realized recently that the smallest of my nesting dies rarely–if ever–get used, so it’s great to see one used to such perfect effect. Beautiful card and thank you for the inspo!
