Welcome friends! I have a mixed media Christmas card to share with you using a few products from the Simon Says Stamp Diecember release.
The focus of this card is the Hanging Leaf Ring which includes the ornament shape in the center and the flowers and greenery.
I die cut my flowers and greenery from various shades of cardstock and then sprayed with an Iridescent Shimmer Spray and added White Splatters. I also double layered everything for stability.
For the background, I am using the Shimmer Lattice Embossing Folder. I ran it through with a Soft Navy cardstock. Then I lightly went over the raised areas with a Silver & Gold pigment ink. For more of a dramatic look, I went around the outer edges with an Intense Black Ink and a blending brush.
To bring this whole card together, I used a piece of Rose Gold Glitter cardstock for the card front.
My embossed panel is trimmed down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added over the glitter cardstock with liquid glue and craft foam.
I added my ring to the front of the card and arranged my flowers and greenery in the corner.
I finished it all off with a beautiful scripty sentiment from the Graceful Holiday Greetings stamp set and a few gems to the center of the flowers.
