I am sharing inspiration using the new Peony & Lilac Swag bundle. Wow! This bundle is absolutely gorgeous !
I did my usual which is stamp the image first in Limestone ink. I’m going to use the coordinating stencil to color in the image. Once I’m done ink blending, I place my panel back in my Misti and stamp again with Obsidian ink.
I went for some light orange/yellow peonies with a hint of blue/vioet in the lilacs.
The colors I used are:
The sentiments are amazing on this set. I stamped one right on the card front and the other one I stamped and die cut out to pop up with foam tape.
I thought about ink blending my background but really like the striking clean, white background with this image.

Love your card, Mindy! Thanks for the email alert about the Blog Hop so I didn’t miss it. Also, did you know Gina K. mentioned you in her Live Chat this week? I can’t remember if it was Tuesday night or the Thursday video, but she said you do beautiful work and showed how to color an image with a lightly stamped ink color, keep the stamp in the Misti, then when you’re done coloring you put it back in the Misti and stamp it again with black ink (like the card today). It’s so nice that everyone in this crafting community supports one another! I like to pass compliments on, so I wanted to let you know Gina gave you a wonderful compliment.
