Foiling Toner Sheets + Layering Stencils: A Fun Idea & Technique

Hey friends! I have a new video for you where I’m using toner panels to foil and then stenciling over the top. I’ve done these types of cards before but this time I’m stepping it up with a fun ink blending technique AND I finally figured out the magical spot for getting perfect foiled results.

I will admit that I’ve struggled in the past with the pre-printed toner panels but I sat down, did some experimenting and I think I finally got it! Be sure to check out the video for the fun technique and my foiling tip.

Keep in mind this is what works for me so you may need to experiment with your machine and what will work best for you.

VIDEO

You can watch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Please be aware, any dark spots you may see in the foiling in the pictures is the reflection of my camera and not because it didn’t foil well. It all foiled perfectly!

All of the supplies are linked in the video description on Youtube and a fully visual supply list is linked at the end of this blog.

Here is a list of the main products I used:

I hope you found the video helpful and inspirational! Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you so much! This was a huge encouragement for me to play with my Mini Minc. I finally remembered that Taylor mentioned a while back that the shim doesn’t work for everyone. I took it out and BAM! perfect foiled butterflies! Now I just need to learn to blend like you do! These are lovely!
