Welcome friends! Today we are celebrating the brand new Classic & Premium My Monthly Hero Kit for December 2023 with a blog hop filled with inspiration and giveaways !
First, let’ take a look at the classic kit this month.

- XL Alphabet Clear Stamp
- Alphabet Cover Die
- 10 Pack of Watercolor Pencils
- 6 Sheets of Luxe Watercolor Paper, 8 1/2″ x 11″
- Water Flower Brush

The Premium Kit includes everything from the Classic Kit PLUS:
- Numbers Clear Stamp Set
- Fineline Applicator
- Sea Salt Reactive Ink Reinker
- Gold Glimmer Metallic Ink
My card today is featuring the cover plate die from the kit. I turned mine into a stencil!
I started by spraying a piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ watercolor paper with Fuschia/Gold and Ocean Blue/Gold Metallic Spray. I then set it off on the side to dry.

To create my own stencil, I die cut the cover plate from White cardstock. Then I placed it over my sprayed panel (once dry) and held it over the top with post it tape.
I applied Gold Paste through the DIY stencil using my palette knife.

I like to reign in my backgrounds a little by creating a frame. I used the Nesting Rectangles to create a nice White frame and popped it up with foam tape.
Then I die cut a star from the Nesting Stars die and popped that up in the center.
For my sentiment, I’m using the THANKS from the Geometric Frames set. This is stamped in Black ink, layered up for dimension and added to the center of my star.

I also used the Fine Line Applicator with the Gold Glimmer Metallic ink and added dots for a little interest.

Next I have very different card to share using some other products from the release.
On a piece of Lapis cardstock, I stamped the Positive Script background stamp in Unicorn Pigment ink. I slightly shifted my paper and stamped it again in Nautical ink for an off set look.
I splattered the background with White and Gold Glimmer Metallic inks.
For the center piece, I die cut the Decorative Accents from White cardstock and layered together for dimension.

The sentiment is from the Message Basics stamp set. I double heat embossed it in Gold embossing powder onto Nautical cardstock and created my own wavy banner.
