Hello friends! Today is day TWO of the Season of Wonder blog hop with Simon Says Stamp! In case you missed it, be sure to check out Day One HERE.
I have a very whimsical and kind of non-traditional Christmas card to share with you today.
VIDEO
You can watch the card tutorial down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
I’m using the Lovely Leaves Wafer Die for my card today and created a window for them to be peeking through.
I started with the background by stamping Christmas Words in Flannel ink.
Then I die cut the Lovely Leaves multiple times from two different shades of green cardstock and layered together with liquid glue.

The window for my leaves is created using the Infinity Arches die. I turned it into a double frame for more interest.
I love the mix of the traditional green colors and soft pink.

For the sentiment, I’m using one of my favorites from a past release and that is Christmas Blessings and embellished with Gold Glitter Drops.

The way you shadowed the leaves creates such an illusion of depth. It adds middle ground between the window and the background. Fabulous!

So true that this could be made for any occasion. I do love the design!
Lovely card!
So pretty! This strikes me as a really nice card for someone who maybe has had to deal with some hard stuff Christmases past (ie loss of a loved one, etc). What a sweet way to let them know they are on your mind during a difficult time for them.
