Hello friends! Today I wanted to show you how I created this glistening Lake water in my scene.

I’m using the At The Lake stencil set from Honey Bee Stamps. It’s a very popular stencil right now so be sure to click the “Notify Me” buttons so you are notified when it’s back in stock.

To color in my scene I’m using all Distress Inks and applying the color with blending brushes.

• Shaded Lilac
• Scattered Straw
• Wild Honey

After my scene is colored in, I’m going to bring back the stencil that created the lake water and add Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the top. It truly looks like a lake with all that shine and sparkle!

I’ll create a frame using the Oval dies and White cardstock and add over the top using foam.

I have a little “oops” moment in the video that you’ll have to check out! Thankfully my card still worked out.

For a sentiment I’m using the Hooked On You stamp set. I inked up the sentiment in Intense Black ink and trimmed out with the coordinating die.

Totally serene scene and looks just like a lake front!
