Welcome back friends! Today I’m sharing inspiration using the Seahorse Kisses collection from Spellbinders in collaboration with Dawn Woleslagle. This is a lovely collection that works well together or you can use each on their own. Most of what I’m showing today is using the glimmer plates from collection.

This collection really has me in the mood for summer.
I had some backgrounds I created using dye inks and a gel plate on Hammermill cardstock and I thought the color combos worked well with this collection. I foiled the images from the Under The Sea collection using Satin Gold Glimmer Foil and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Now for this card, I also used one of my gel plate panels with the Cast Away embossing folder. Then I went over the embossed areas with a sanding block to make them pop out a little more.

I die cut a circle from the Everlasting Circles and used that to anchor my image and sentiments.
These sentiments come from the Seahorse Floral collection also foiled in Satin Gold.

I finished off this card with a few Peach Opalescent sequins using my liquid glue.

The next card really takes you under the sea!
This one is using the large glimmer plate from the Seahorse Floral set. I foiled it, again in Satin Gold, and trimmed out the panel with a Rectangle die and added to a white A2 size card front.

I started adding a little bit of shadow with a light grey copic marker but my marker spit out on my cardstock and left a big blob lol. I refused to give up this background so I used some of the other images I had foiled from the Under The Sea set and placed them over the messed up areas. Card saved!

The sentiment for this one comes from the Seahorse Kisses Sentiments set which has some really fun sentiments. This one is my favorite!

Once again, I added a few Peach Opalescent sequins to the card front.

Such a lovely collection!
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Hi, Mindy – These are great. Love the Cast Away embossing folder.
