Hello friends! I’m joining Altenew in celebrating the Marvelous Monthly Series with a blog hop!
I’m sharing inspiration using the Build A Garden Grand Carnation set. This set is kind of nostalgic for me. Pretty sure it’s the first flower I ever received when I was young.

Carnations come in so many different colors. Today I’m using the Blue Mountains and Frosted Foliage inks sets to color my flowers. The small blending brushes worked nicely to blend my color in the areas of the stencil.

For the background I used the Blue Mountain ink set and a large blending brush. Then after removing the stencil, I went back over the background.
I added flicks of metallic watercolor for added interest.
I love that there are coordinating dies for some of the sentiments. I thought this sentiment was a beautiful message to send to a friend.
