Abstract Art in Card Making: Clean & Simple Cards

Hello friends! I have some clean and simple cards to share today featuring some new stamp sets from Gina K Designs. What I really love about these new sets is it makes it super easy to create abstract art on my cards. I’m always a fan of that!

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel walking you through the cards.

Since I walk through the steps in the video, I will list the main supplies used down below each card.

Let’s start with this beauty!

This card was created with the Grow Through Stamp set to create this abstract design. I used the colors Light Carnation, Prickly Pear, Sea Glass and Sweet Mango.

I added a few other elements from the same stamp set stamped in Black Onyx ink.

The sentiment die is from the Autumn Splendor Card kit. I die cut it from matte gold card stock and layered up for dimension.

I finished off the card with a few clear dew drops and liquid glue.

For my next card, I’m using the abstract designs from the Grow Through stamp set and also images from Happy Life.

Colors used on this card are Sea Glass, Prickly Pear, Tranquil Teal and Light Carnation.

The sentiment is from the Perfect Protea stamp set stamped in Black Onyx.

This card wasn’t created in the video but I used the same steps as the previous card.

The colors used for this card are Peach Bellini, Whisper (stamped several times) and Sandy Beach.

I adore this color combination!

I used the Mixed Messages to add a sentiment and finished off with the Clear Quartz Solid Sequins and connect glue.

Even though I layered the panels to add dimension, you could certainly make them as one layer cards.

I hope you have found these ideas inspiring! I love to try out new color combinations and can you believe ….. no ink blending! Crazy for me right?!

Have a great day!
