Hi friends! I have another one layer wonder to share with you today and we will doing a little masking and a little ink blending.
I also went digging through my stash for a stamp set I either hadn’t used in a while or at all and found the Bold & Blooming from Gina K Designs. This is actually from a few years ago and I had fallen in love with the design but then never used it!

I love to have a white frame around my ink blended backgrounds but instead of trimming my blended piece down to add on top of a white card panel, I’m going to mask off the edges to create a white border.

I used the Gina K Designs Masking Magic and trimmed it down to 1/4″ strips to create the white frame.
Then I’m ink blending on Wild Lilac, Passionate Pink, Wild Dandelion, Sea Glass and Blue Lagoon using my blending brushes.
After I peel the masking magic away, which doesn’t rip my paper one bit, I have a beautifully blended background.
To help me with my alignment, I’m going to use the Misti Transparency Grid from Simon Says Stamp.
My images and sentiment are stamped in Altenew Obsidian ink which is a black pigment ink. It gives clean, crisp results but takes a little longer to dry because it is a pigment ink. Versafine would work as well.

I can then embellishment my card using clear dew drops and Connect glue.

One layer cards are quick, easy and perfect for mailing.
(Don’t mind those little points in the picture next to the dew drops. That’s just from my lights when taking the picture)

Hope you enjoyed today’s card project creating this one layer wonder using my older stamp set.
If you love this set and don’t have it, I have all the supplies listed down below and on Youtube.
Good reminder and a beautiful card! TFS –
