Cards Lawn Fawn

Lawn Fawn: Just Add Glitter

Hello friends! It’s an exciting time of the month and that’s because it’s Summer Release Week at Lawn Fawn where we count down the days until the Summer Release!

On May 19th our 11 new stamp sets, 17 new die sets, 3 new stencil sets, new paper collection, and more new products will be available at your favorite store and Lawn Fawn store. Woohoo! Until then we will have fun posts with design team projects, intro videos, and giveaways!

I have to preface by saying when I created this card I did not have new stencils and I wanted a paint splatter background. (little heads up – there’s a paint splatter stencil!)

I had to get creative to create my background.

Another little hit, there is an Art Easel die set coming out that has a paint blob die in it. I used that to create a mask and stencil of my own with masking paper.

So to create the background, I used my diy stencil to ink blend the area and then once the ink was dry, masked it to overlap my paint blobs (for lack of a better word lol)

Hope that makes sense. Maybe I’ll try to incorporate that in a video if anyone is interested.

So after I created my paint background, I just added all of these fun elements from the NEW Just Add Glitter stamp set.

They are creating a fun, crafty mess!

I added a wood floor using woodgrain cardstock ( because wood floors are easier to clean up then carpet lol)

I finished off the card with my own custom sentiment using the Henry’s ABC’s alphabet die and Pixie Dust cardstock.
