Hi friends! I’m in a video hop today with some crafty friends celebrating the Modern Spring release from Honeybee Stamps!

I’m using the new Lovely Layers Tulips die and adding color by ink blending with Distress Oxides.

I have been loving individual die sets lately as there are just so many ways to add color.

For the tulips I’m using Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon and Candied Apple distress oxide inks. For the leaves and stems of the tulips I’m using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.

This card was certainly a work in progress. I really struggled with my background, which I talk about in the video, but in the end I’m glad I stuck with it and how it came together.

I have the Spring Leaves Pierced Cover Plate die cut from white cardstock and ink blended Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, Candied Apple and Villainous Potion.

I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Small Card Big Hugs set.
